Who is coaching best suited for?

Teens, homeschool students, hobby writers, and adults who want encouragement, clarity, or guidance — whether you’re just starting or working toward publication.

Do I need writing experience?

Not at all. Many writers start with only an idea or curiosity.

What happens in a session?

We talk about your goals, challenges, and next steps. Sessions are conversational, encouraging, and practical — no pressure or harsh critique.

Can you help with publishing?

Yes. I can walk you through the basics of self-publishing on ebook platforms and help you understand the process.

Is this faith-friendly?

Yes. I am a Christian writer — encouragement and values are welcome.

What ages do you work with?

Teens through adults.

How do sessions happen?

Online via video or phone — whatever feels most comfortable.

What if I’m nervous?

That’s completely normal. Many writers feel unsure at first — we go gently.

Can parents sit in for teen sessions?

Absolutely, if helpful.

What if I need to reschedule?

Just let me know 24 hours in advance— flexibility is part of the process.

What genres do I coach?

Almost any genre. My speciality is Christian fiction, cozy mysteries, and suspense. I have coached students through writing sci-fi and fantasy as well. I DO NOT coach writers creating books with spice or sexual themes, gratuitous violence or torture, bullying of religious beliefs, or heavy witchcraft themes. What systems have I used?

A lot goes into writing and publishing your book. Some, but not all, of the software and services I’ve used are: Canva, Fiverr, KDP, ACX, Draft2Digital, Publisher Rocket, and Atticus.

The BIG QUESTION- Pricing:

To keep coaching accessible while allowing me to give thoughtful attention, I offer:

• Single session (50 minutes): $45 — perfect for brainstorming or encouragement
• Monthly support (4 sessions): $160 — steady guidance and momentum

I take payments through Venmo or can invoice you through PayPal

If cost is a concern, you’re welcome to reach out — I occasionally offer sliding-scale spots.

Want me to read your work?

$50 for the first 5,000 words – then $50 for every 10,000 words after that. (Example: 15,000 word novella would cost $100)

Be advised: I will not offer proofreading or line edits. This is strictly an encouraging critique from one writer to another.

Given the nature of coaching and the time to prepare and hold sessions, I do not offer refunds. Thanks for understanding.
