For the just-minded:
Be prepared to laugh and sob with Shannon Hale’s The Goose Girl. We LOVE the audible version of this book. It’s not exactly a dramatic reading but does have all the voices. It’s wonderful.
For the freedom fighter:
Oh my. Oh my. Oh my. Do not be deceived by the sweet cover of this little book. Written in prose it’s a fast read. One I’m always unable to put down. Every time I pick it up I have to finish it. In fact, during a late night at my house I started this book in hopes it would lull my kids to sleep. I read out loud for two hours straight. We couldn’t leave the courageous May hanging. We had to finish the book. I bet you’ll be no different.
